Welcome to the Wikispace. This first page will go over THE RULES and then present links to THE ASSIGNMENTS TO BE COMPLETED throughout this unit.

THE RULES: This wikispace serves as more than just a new format for submitting assignments. It serves as a cyber source by offering links to other readings and helpful areas on-line. It also serves as a gallery where we can see and comment upon each other’s work. Therefore, you must respect this site as you would the classroom where we meet each school day.

One of your first tasks after logging on is to change your password. Once you do this, you must report your changed password to me, in case you forget it. I reccommend that you also enter your e-mail address in your account. Like most places on-line, the wikispace can contact you if you ever forget your password. This should help to keep each student’s account fortified. However, should someone find a way to go onto another student’s account and steal his/her identity, that culprit, once discovered, will suffer a zero for all of the assignments in that unit.

Also, from time to time, some of these pages will be locked but others must remain open in order for groups to add to and update them. We must be respectful of every group’s page. Just because you could easily access and change a page, does not mean you should. You have the power to “avoid unrighteousness” and, in turn, avoid being an idiot. Please do so. If anyone does happen to sabotage a group’s page, the aforementioned penalty will be applied.

Finally, this wikispace is to be used for these assigned tasks only, not to share gossip, blazon the inappropriate, whine about the work you do, or criticize others in the class. All of that is, to put it lightly, unprofessional. Think two or three times when adding to a page, posting a comment to a discussion thread, or responding to someone else’s comment. THANK YOU!!
